Summary
The design and manufacturing of custom pumps is one of the biggest challenges we face daily in CDR. The vast world of centrifugal pumps often sees us engaged in targeted and specific projects in critical and complex plant sections, where customers struggle to find the right supplier or the most suitable product for their needs. In fact, each plant has unique characteristics, and identifying the ideal solution requires experience, expertise, and a highly specialized approach.
We at CDR Pompe, For several decades now, we have focused our efforts and investments on the research and development of new, increasingly high-performing pumps, designed to guarantee efficiency, reliability, and safety even in the most extreme conditions.
Thanks to a team of highly qualified experts and the use of cutting-edge technologies, we develop tailor-made solutions for each client, responding to specific operational needs of various industrial, chemical, and pharmaceutical sectors. Our goal is to offer centrifugal pumps that not only improve system performance but also reduce maintenance costs and ensure a long service life.
Our custom pumps are truly tailored to the customer's needs
Our extensive range of process pumps almost always allows the customer to find the tailor-made solution for their plant. Thanks to the custom pump, this is our real challenge in terms of design and production, we can satisfy even the most complex requests or those that go beyond our general catalog.
This is thanks to continuous communication with our Technical and R&D Office and our ongoing investments in technological development, which allow us to remain extremely competitive in the Italian and international markets.
The requests we most commonly receive are specifically for products like Aircraft carrier, a vertical axis centrifugal pump made of PP or PVDF thermoplastic material, Hello TMVN, a single-stage magnetic drive centrifugal pump running vertically, with parts in contact with the fluid made of PVDF. Or even in-line centrifugal pumps made of steel, like ours UTS-B IN LINE, that could be applied directly to the pipes.
They are all perfect and suitable products for working in critical and complex environments, such as ATEX zone with potentially explosive atmospheres or applications with low NPSH (Net Positive Suction Head), which is the net positive suction head of a pump.
Magnetic and mechanical holding: these are also customizable solutions
The technology and materials we use for our pumps magnetic drag and mechanical seal allow a extremely high degree of versatility and modification. Configurations by adding options, such as the zirconium oxide glass energy saving The Diamond-coated SSiC bushings in graphite, enable our pumps to be adapted, for example, for both high and low temperatures.
Depending on the client's specific needs, our top-of-the-line pumps are also available in various types of steel, such as’316 steel or AISI 304. There are also pumps lined with technologies in various materials, including PP polypropylene, PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride), ETFE (Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene) and Please find attached (perfluoroalkoxy).
All our solutions are designed to ensure A very high quality and great security of the work environments and the personnel involved. In addition to working in direct contact with the distributor to ensure the satisfaction of every customer, our true strength lies in our people, a team of industry experts who work with passion and are constantly updated.
Trust CDR Pompe for the management and handling of dangerous, corrosive, and toxic liquids with maximum safety and reliability. Contact our sales office or R&D technical office for more information or requests. 2025 will continue to be a year full of novelties.
