Applications:

The Artificial and synthetic fibers account for 60% of the textile fibers used worldwide. Artificial fibers are produced from renewable raw materials similar to those used for natural fibers, while synthetic fibers are derived from polymers obtained through chemical synthesis. These large-scale production facilities operate continuously and feature vertically integrated processes, utilizing traditional polymerization technologies and advanced methods to transform the polymer into fiber, which can take the form of either staple fiber or filament yarn.

Centrifugal pumps used in fiber production processes include models UTS e ETS, both made of steel and known for their high strength. The UTS is a Single-stage centrifugal pump with high efficiency, available in both sealless (UTS-B) and bare shaft (UTS) versions. These magnetically driven pumps, made of AISI 316 stainless steel, are designed for continuous operation (24/7). In synthetic fiber production, the UTS is widely used in thermoregulation processes. The magnets can be Neodymium Iron Boron or Samarium Cobalt, depending on the temperature of the liquid being pumped. The Hastelloy-C 276 containment shell offers excellent corrosion resistance and minimizes thermal loss caused by eddy currents. The UTS bare shaft version is installed on a baseplate, with a coupling and shroud for mounting with B3 form motors. This pump can handle fluids within a wide temperature range, from -100°C to +300°C.

The STD is another Magnetic drive centrifugal pump, also constructed of microcast AISI 316 steel, known for its high resistance to corrosion. The Hastelloy-C 276 containment cup reduces losses due to eddy currents. Available in a monobloc version, the ETS is suitable for B5 form motors and is ideal for all applications requiring the use of steel pumps for compatibility reasons.

Finally, the XTS It is a metal centrifugal pump with a magnetic drive, specifically designed for pumping liquids containing suspended solids. Built using innovative technologies, the XTS is designed to optimize performance, safety, and reliability in basic chemical processes.
