Applications:

The petrochemical industry produces intermediate products derived primarily from methane or hydrocarbons obtained from petroleum distillation. Typical processes in this sector include the synthesis of nitric acid, sulfuric acid, methanol, urea, and styrene, as well as the production of aromatic molecules (such as benzene, toluene, and xylenes), nitriles, and halogenated hydrocarbons. These substances then serve as raw materials for the synthesis of other complex molecules.

Centrifugal pumps commonly used in the petrochemical industry include models UCL, CCL, UTS e UTN-BL.

The UTS pump, The magnetic drive monolithic pumps are designed to offer high efficiency in monoblock operation with a bare shaft. Made from AISI 316 stainless steel, these pumps feature an oil-bath bearing support, ideal for continuous 24/7 applications. AISI 316 steel ensures full compatibility with most petrochemical products.

If AISI 316 steel is not compatible with the fluid being processed, the UTN pump may be a suitable choice, available with PFA, PVDF, or Polypropylene linings. The simple design of the UTN, with a reduced number of components, makes maintenance extremely easy. Thanks to the fluoropolymer lining, this pump is particularly resistant and suitable for applications in aggressive environments. UTN-BL version, magnetic drive monobloc, is specifically designed for the treatment of corrosive liquids where high safety is required, offering great reliability.

The UCL is a centrifugal pump mechanically sealed, also available with PFA, PVDF, or Polypropylene coatings. This model is ideal for handling corrosive and hazardous liquids, thanks to a 4-5 mm thick coating on all parts in contact with the process fluid. The UCL offers the option of installing single or double mechanical seals and features a modular design, with a stainless steel shaft coated in PFA using the transfer molding process, which ensures effective protection and long durability.
